Our Pigeon Forge hotel is just minutes away from the NASCAR SpeedPark, a thrilling amusement park with an action packed arcade, miniature golf, mechanical rides and some of the best go kart tracks in the Smokies! This family fun destination is a blast for all ages and is sure to be a highlight of your vacation in the Smoky Mountains! Here are the top 4 things that you need to know about visiting NASCAR SpeedPark:
1. What to Expect
NASCAR SpeedPark is one of the most popular entertainment centers in the Smokies as it truly features something for everyone, ranging from go-kart racing to traditional amusement rides like the Scrambler and Tilt-a-Whirl! When you feel the need for speed, buckle up for one of the incredible go-kart tracks including the Smoky Mountain Speedway, Intimidator, Slidewayz and Competitor! There are even several tracks for the younger ones in your family, such as the Young Champions, Family 500 and the Qualifier! As if that doesn’t sound good enough, you can also test your putting skills with 36 challenging holes of miniature golf, play redemption games for big prizes in the SpeedDome Arcade or spin yourself silly on the Spin Zone Bumper Cars!
2. Hours and Location
While many folks associate the NASCAR SpeedPark with Pigeon Forge, it is actually just north of town at 1545 Parkway in Sevierville, TN. Just follow the Parkway north a few miles from our hotel and you can’t miss the park on the right just past the intersection with New Era Road! The park is generally open daily from April through October, while operating hours vary during the rest of the year. Be sure to check the official operating calendar when planning your trip! Keep in mind that, just like NASCAR races, inclement weather may temporarily close some attractions to keep drivers safe.
3. Ticket Information
There are a variety of convenient ticket options, including Unlimited Ride Wristbands, Rookie Wristbands and Annual Passes. One of the best values is the Vacation Pass, where you can enjoy 7 full days of unlimited play! This option is great for guests who want to stop by for a couple of hours each day after exploring some of the other attractions in Pigeon Forge! Note that admission to the NASCAR SpeedPark is free and wristbands are only required to ride the go-karts and outdoor rides.
4. Where to Stay
One of the most important decisions that you need to make when visiting the Smokies is finding the perfect place to stay near the park! There is no need to look any further than our affordable hotel rooms in Pigeon Forge, where you will find comfortable accommodations, kitchenettes, Jacuzzi tubs and more! These are not your typical hotel rooms, but large suites with a separate living room that make it easy to spread out!
