Each evening during the Dollywood summer festival, the theme park hosts incredible fireworks displays. Known as “Dolly’s Nights of Many Colors”, these gorgeous fireworks are synchronized with an original song called “Paint Your Dreams Across the Sky”, which was written by Ms. Parton herself. Popular places to view the fireworks include Timber Canyon/Wilderness Pass, Adventures in Imagination between Dolly’s Closet and the Dreamsong Theater, Country Fair in front of Grandstand Cafe, and the Front Gate in front of the Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame.

Awesome Summer Shows

The Summer Lives Here festival is famous for its awesome entertainment! Here are some of the great shows you can see at the theme park this summer:

Gazillion Bubbles: This one-of-a-kind show features talented bubble artists who will astound you with their magical bubble creations. Featuring laser lights and special effects, the Gazillion Bubbles show will delight guests of all ages.

Dreamland Drive-In: If you’re looking for a blast from the past, you’ll love Dreamland Drive-In! This wonderful musical revue show includes outstanding renditions of some of the biggest hits from the ‘50s and ‘60s from an ensemble cast of 12 performers and four live musicians.

Gem Tones: Much like Dreamland Drive-In, the Gem Tones perform classic songs from the ‘50s and ‘60s. However, the Gem Tones consist of just five cast members and all of their performances are a capella. The Gem Tones perform at Red’s Drive-In and they have been known to spontaneously pop up around the park, so you never know where you’ll see them next!

My People!: This unique show stars Dolly Parton’s brother Randy, her sister Cassie, and other members of the Parton family. Audiences will enjoy music and stories from the people closest to Dolly.
