After its winter hiatus, Dollywood is preparing to open its doors once again for another season of family fun this spring! In mid-March, the theme park will kick off the year with its annual Festival of Nations. This month-long celebration turns Dollywood into an international hub, with music, dancing, art, and food from all around the world.

Amazing Entertainment

The highlight of the Festival of Nations is seeing all of the incredible entertainment from across the globe. Performers from various countries in South America, Africa, and Europe take up residency at Dollywood for a month of unparalleled shows.

The headliner for this year will be Mother Africa, a troupe of entertainers from many nations across the African continent. The New York Times hasMusicians with African drums. described the Mother Africa show as a “circus, dance performance, and world music concert all in one”. This high-energy show includes thrilling acrobatics, hilarious comedy, beautiful costumes, jaw-dropping dance routines, and irresistible music from a live band. Mother Africa has performed at Dollywood in past years, and the troupe has repeatedly been a crowd favorite.
